Café del Mar

You probably heard about it. Famous cafe in Ibiza that was built in 1980, famous for it`s music compilations. 

I`m not usually into those famous places where everybody goes to see and be seen... But the concept of Cafe del Mar is something you just can`t copy. It all started with an simple idea: you take one amazing scenery, add beautiful weather, spice that with amazing chillout music and you have the recipe for a sunset one of the kind. 

The amazing thing is that there are 18 compilation albums of magnificent music of Cafe del Mar, coming out annually from 1994. 

Why am I telling you all this? Well, in case you haven`t noticed, summer is almost here, and if you`re like many of us, you can`t afford to take an exotic trip to Ibiza. So, here`s a cheap way to enjoy your summer in the city. 

All you need to do is to get your hands of any release of Cafe del Mar music, put it on your CD player, darken the room, pour yourself a glass of your favorite cold drink, close your eyes imagine the perfect scenery, and let the music do the rest of magic. It`s a great way to forget for a moment where you really are, and all the daily things troubling you. Let the imagination do the trick. You won`t regret it...
