The Crow The Owl and The Dove *Single Release*

With their current mammoth work "Imaginaerum" Nightwish have made it once more to reinvent themselves and explore as new musical territory. "The crow, the owl and the dove" is the second single from the success of a spine-tingling epic and catchy beyond compare. Contrary to the rest of the album tracks, the title comes from the pen of guitarist Marco Hietala, the order a beautiful ballad, as well as rock number has been successful. The gentle chorus gets under your skin, not least through the enchanting duet between vocalist Anette Olzon and Hietala. On the single there is the song in three versions: a radio edit, instrumental and the album version

Still unofficial but rumor has it that  as a special the 5-track single would contain an unpublished number to date. "The heart asks pleasure first", originated as an instrumental number, from the film's drama "The Piano" by Jane Campion and was interpreted by the Finns in a whole new way. It's like Nightwish at the body written and is performing in two variants, both instrumental and with vocals, choir and orchestra.

Even if was said that Imaginaerum wouldn`t have any bonus tracks this song deserves to be released even as a B-side. I guess that waiting was worth for. On March 3rd we should be able to hear it at last. Will keep you updated on the matter... Keep your eyes open, and ears ready, cause that`s gonna blow your mind off...
